Homeroom East Ridge High School, Woodbury: Teacher turns teens on to 'real science'

This pleasant article is about a teacher at East Ridge in Woodbury that has a chance at winning a teaching award and receiving 10,000 dollars along with having a lunch with President Obama. I think it's great that a teacher from Minnesota has a chance at winning this award. My friend goes to East Ridge and it makes me wonder if he has had her as a teacher. If so, that'd be really cool because she obviously has to be a great teacher since she's up for the award. She teaches science and I think it'd be cool to have her as a science teacher because I don't like science as much and it would be cool to have a teacher like her who really captures your interest when it comes to science.
